Concealed Carry Certification Course

Our county approved course, led by certified Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) Instructors, is designed to teach/evaluate a student's ability as an upcoming safe and responsible Certified Firearm Permit (CFP) holder. Under careful guidance, student's will develop the firearm skills and critical thinking needed to prevail in an defensive encounter. Private CCW Courses can be scheduled. Contact for details.

Handgun I and II Training Courses

 

Instruction and practice in physical and psychological aspects of self-defense. Emphasis on developing strategies to emerge from threatening situations without sustaining serious physical or psychological trauma. The attainment of these skills can boost self-esteem, facilitating the pursuit of life and career goals. Handgun I and II courses are limited seating!

B.S.I.S. Firearms Exposed Carry Course

 

The Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS or Bureau) issues Firearms Permits (also referred to as a "Firearms Qualification Card (FQ)" or "Exposed Firearms Permit") as specified in Article 4 (commencing with Section 7540) of Chapter 11.3, Article 4 (commencing with Section 7583) of Chapter 11.5 and Article 6 (commencing with Section 7596) of Chapter 11.6 of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code (BPC).

Utah Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit Course

Concealed carry enthusiasts know that the Utah non-resident concealed firearm permit is the permit to have. If you travel for business or pleasure, now you can continue to maintain your personal safety within 31 states across the country. In order to obtain this important permit, a student must complete an approved course of instruction taught by a Utah state certified instructor.


This is a 4 hour class (classroom lecture only) and the cost of the class is $165.00* per student. 


Utah does not require any live fire or range qualification in order to obtain their permit. The Utah non-resident concealed firearm permit is the most widely accepted non-resident permit in the United States. This class follows the training outline mandated by the State of Utah, Bureau of Criminal Identification and covers many different aspects of firearm safety and ownership.
 

Upon completion of the class, you will be submitting to Utah:
Completed application signed by the instructor, fingerprint cards (provided by the instructor) and process your finger prints. The applicant MUST provide two passport style photos (obtained at Walgreens, CVS or UPS store). Applicants must also have a valid Driver's License or Identification Card with current address. Utah Non-Resident Carry Permit DO NOT require you to have your firearm(s) register on your permit! Utah will conduct a background investigation on the applicant to make sure that applicant has no disquailifing factors probating the applicant from owning or possessing a firearm.

Applicants are NOT required to have a CA CCW in order to have a Utah CCW!!

Training Course Information - Concealed Weapons Permit

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT FOR TRAINING:

 

  • Handgun - The Gun(s) You'll Be Putting on Your Application (LIMIT 3 FIREARMS)

  • 2-3 Magazines or Speed Loaders

  • Magazine Pouch

  • Appropriate Holster for Your Firearms

  • "Electronic" Hearing Protection

  • Eye Protection

  • Belt

  • Comfortable Shoes (No Flip-flops, Sandals or Heels)

  • Notepad and Pencil/Pen

 

You Must Qualify With Each Firearm You Plan on Filing on Your CCW Permit. All Firearms Qualified with MUST BE Registered to the CCW Applicant. Spouses May No Longer Share Firearms for Certification.

 

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT:

 

  • WATER! AND A LIGHT LUNCH IF PREFERRED

  • Gloves

  • Sunscreen

  • Appropriate Clothing

  • Be Prepared for Any Type of Weather

  • Full Length Pants Should Have Belt Loops and Pockets

 

AMMUNITION:50 rounds of factory-new ammunition with full-metal jacket for each firearm you are qualifying with.

 

PLEASE NO RELOADED AMMUNITION!
